Textiles & Apparel

Garments, footwear, home textiles, fabrics and yarn — a category where getting origin rules and labelling right decides what you pay.

What to Watch

Duty rates & origin

Apparel carries some of Canada’s highest duty rates, so trade-agreement origin (such as CPTPP or CUSMA) can make a big difference. We check whether your goods qualify and what proof is needed.

Textile labelling

Consumer textiles need fibre-content labels in English and French and a dealer identity. We flag label issues before the goods reach the shelf.

Supply-chain documentation

Canada prohibits imports of goods made with forced labour. We help you keep supplier and origin records ready if CBSA asks.
